HEY! your email bounced..
can i show your film at a festival in singapore this october????
I just saw Sidewalk and would love to send you a signed copy of my book – Whose A&& Is That?
The impetus for writing it was – It CAN’T just be me… your film confirms that!
Let me know where I can send the book.
Cheers,
MLZ
I like it++. Don’t be fooled by the name – I am very much an Aussie male.
Simply insightful piece. The message at the end is maybe just a little too obscure for mere males such as me.

Thank You, Al! I’m not sure how to find the video on ForbiddenKnowledgeTv, but I’m very pleased to know you found it there.
Thanks, Kim! It’s nice to know there are Bullwinkels in Australia. Warm greetings from Brooklyn!
Thanks, Marylu! I will send you an email.
hi Celia- I enjoyed your Sidewalk film….but am 61 and have to say the older parts of the woman’s life in your film made me think you were probably pretty young…..I have great posture…eat well….don’t use a cane…etc. thanks though for a good one!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about Sidewalk. Being only in my thirties, I based the later stages of the film on my grandmother, who used a cane from her mid-eighties to early nineties. I’m pleased to know that life is active and vibrant in your current age. I hope to have the same good fortune!
just finished watching “sidewalk” and I loved it (a friend shared it with me on Facebook)
Thanks for sharing this
Sidewalk – what a depressing film – even if it is intended as an allegory. I’m sorry but feel I really must speak out. To go to all this trouble….all that work to project such a negative life message to young people is a complete mystery to me. A woman’s life is so much more than wandering through a morass of sexism, looksism, negative body images, ageism. I am approaching 70 and have had, and continue to have, a really rich, free and fulfilled life. Trite, shallow, depressing.
[…] you seen “Sidewalk” yet? It’s a four-minute animated short by Celia Bullwinkel. It tells a woman’s entire life just by following her as she walks down the street. Somehow it […]
Love your work!!
Thanks,

Just watched ‘sidewalk” on the Shorts Network and loved it! Your characters are beautifully drawn and the story structure is brilliant. I realize it was done in 2013, but this will still be worth studying in 2063. Sending respect!
Thank you, Kevin. I hope I hope we’ll still be around in 2063 to find out!
Celia – thought Sidewalk was brilliant and OH HOW I RELATED!!! I remember at Monroe you doing an animation for a talent show and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. 🙂 saw your mom at my sister’s house today for a cooking class. all the best to you!!
really great job you did charm me your animation to an extent that I wonder what programs you used to make this big project
I used Adobe Flash, Photoshop, and After Effects. I also use Toon Boom software now, which is great for drawn animation!
